Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.
Just a short one because I really want to get this started. InshaAllah.
But before that, just mind my English hehehe, as long as you get the gist of what I am trying to convey, Alhamdulillah!
The reason I am putting up this blog is for sharing and safekeeping of my tajweed knowledge with my children, Izzat, Idlan, Ihsan and Ieshah (my beloved 3kumbangs and bunga) and because I also "share" these knowledge with my family, friends and other anak2, I hope this blog could be a source of reference for them in the future (I feel that "teach" is a strong word for me to use since I myself, am still learning) and my utmost hope is for this blog to become my source of jariah when I migrate to the next life. InshaAllah.
Alhamdulillah, I have learnt tajweed from various teachers, with different methods and techniques; from just repeating what my teacher read to me, from reading and not shown the tajweed rules, from just learning the rules but no recitation, and all inclusive learning ie, rules and recitation. I have benefited from all of the classes. Alhamdulillah. I thank Allah for sending me these people, my Quran teachers (my dear Abah included) and those who have believed in me, urged and supported me to share my knowledge with them or their children (my dear Hubby and my beloved Mama included). Alhamdulillah!
Okay! Here it goes...
I have started to teach my 2 older boys on tajweed rules, in a more organised manner following the tajweed class that I am currently attending. I plan to have the class weekly for a duration of half an hour. I'll show them the rules and give them examples to strengthen their understanding. No recitation because that will be done on another day, mostly by Sheikh Hafiz, Sister Zaharah (their Quran teachers) and me (occasionally). I can't be holding them for too long in class because the two little ones will also be there, to just listen and be part of the class. I have also just started the same teaching manner with 2 of the groups that I am "sharing" currently, including Quran recitation. Alhamdulillah. So far, they seemed okay with this new teaching manner.
So from now on, whatever I have taught my children and the other two groups, I will do the lesson note, scan it and post it in this blog. InshaAllah. I know these will only, mostly be theories but we could work out a way to further understanding those theories. InshaAllah. Should you need clarification, you could either email me or send me a message through facebook/whatsapp. I have done it before and am also currently doing it through audio files and etc. InshaAllah it is doable.
Allah Musta`an.
Oops, that is not short he he he. And oh yes, just thought I highlight it over here. The notes that I share will only comprise about 30% of the overall tajweed knowledge. The best way to learn tajweed is with a proper teacher, face to face, especially when it comes to makhraj and charateristics of the letters. InshaAllah.
P.s. Feel free to print the notes. I recommend to keep them in a folder for easy reference. InshaAllah. I know there's a better way to present the notes, maybe using a mind mapping application or what not but I just feel that drawing it myself would be faster. I can't be sitting in front of the screen for too long he he he...
